Quality, Comfort, Lightweight
Really love these shoes. I've been doing long hikes in these shoes for the last month and I must say it's by far the best hiking shoes I've ever owned. Would definitely recommend these.

Best boots I have ever used but soles wear out fast
These are very nice boots. Comfortable from the first time you put them on, they need no break-in. They have a few changes from the 3s. The 4s are cut differently at the top, they have only one lace hook on each side (the 3s had 2 on each side), they have a slightly different lacing system. They are higher in the back and weigh noticeably less than the 3s. This is my 3rd pair of X-Ultra Mids so I do love them and I would give them 5 stars except for the fact that the soles are only good for about 500 km after which they become very slippery. So I need to buy a new pair every 6 months which has become expensive at R3699!
